Use Case

Designed and built with the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute, the TeleLine Device is a respiratory data acquisition system for remote and AI-enhanced ventilator operation

Proposed Plug-and-Play device (a) with calibration data (b) that I collected with the flow sensor module before system integration

Flow Sensor Module Fabrication

I designed the flow sensor module PCB in Altium, and fabricated it with solder flow methods.

Flow Sensor Module Calibration

I calibrated the Sensirion differential pressure flow sensor using ground-truth flow sensors in parallel to the flow sensor module I designed.

System Integration

The final inline device is embedded with a flow, gas and pressure sensor.

Firmware Development

I have been in charge of developing and testing the firmware for the final system with Programmable Software on Chip (PSoC).

System Testing

We test the system by placing it inline with a ventilator and test lung, and adjust hardware and firmware accordingly.
